Issue

Fabric shrinks after being run through the heat press/calender and/or turns yellow (scorching).

Why does fabric shrinkage and scorching occur?

The heat press/calender was set at too high of a temperature.

The fabric was not properly heat set at mill stage.

Quick Fixes for Fabric Shrinkage & Scorching

Reduce heat press/calender temperature and, if necessary, reduce dwell time.

Gradually increase temperature and/or dwell time until finished print has proper color, ink saturation, and penetration without fabric shrinkage or scorching.
