Saluting Cynthia Enriquez

The 22-year career of Cynthia Enriquez at TVF almost got short-circuited before it started. The friendly voice and helpful presence who guides customers to the correct place when they call the TVF Carson, California office had already spent a couple days at a different job when Robert Hinsch (now-TVF Vice President of Business Development) called her to bring her on-board. Cynthia started her TVF career in 2004 and hasn’t looked back.

“I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Robert. I won’t be in this position if not for him considering me, trusting me, and believing in my potential,” Cynthia notes. “I would also like to thank (TVF Fulfillment Director) Amanda Sanchez, who has taught me the importance of taking initiative, broadened my skill set and deepened my passion for my work. She is my mentor, she is the best.”

Cynthia became renowned for her creativity and willingness to help with activities that built TVF’s unique culture. Her contributions include handcrafted, personalized holiday decorations around the office, hand-sewn items using TVF fabric, and delightful holiday messages through company-wide Teams channels.

“My best work achievement is loving what I do,” the administrative specialist says. “I have been motivated by a desire to learn and grow continuously, and I always enjoy taking on new responsibilities that push me out of my comfort zone. I am also a people person at heart and I find that working with my coworkers who share my values and goals is incredibly fulfilling.”

Cynthia’s spirit and hard work won’t be forgotten by co-owners and customers alike. “I will miss the camaraderie, the friendship, the togetherness, the team spirit,” Cynthia adds, calling TVF more than a job. “It has been my second family, my TVF Carson family. Everyone feels supported, challenged, and appreciated.”

TVF is employee owned, which Cynthia says builds more commitment, motivation, and alignment. “When I retire,” she says, “the ESOP will play a vital role in my retirement planning,” leading to “a more secure and prosperous retirement.”
