Fabric Wallcoverings

Fabric Wallcoverings

Overview

Fabric wallcoverings can transform interior spaces and are a hot and trendy item. Unlike wallpaper, fabric wallcoverings can create a rich and textured look that adds depth and dimension to a room.

What Are Fabric Wallcoverings?

Both fabric wallcoverings and traditional wallpaper can be used to decorate walls, but that’s where the comparison ends. While wallpaper may be fine in low traffic, low-end areas, fabric wallcoverings excel in a wide variety of environments. They are typically more durable and longer-lasting than traditional wallpaper, can be easily cleaned or spot-treated, and are perfect for high traffic areas. Wallcoverings can add warmth and dimension to a room and can be printed with customized designs. They are great for hotels, schools, home offices, and anywhere in the home.

TVF’s Home Décor fabric wallcoverings are made of 100% polyester that can be digitally printed using UV, Latex, and Eco-Solvent printing methods. TVF wallcoverings are professional quality, backed with a non-woven material (or paper), and mimic natural textiles, such as crepe, raw silk, and linen.

TVF offers three exceptional wallcovering fabrics from our Home Décor division, manufactured at OEKO-TEX certified mills. TVF fabric wallcoverings are produced specifically with interior designers in mind as an avenue to showcase their designs and visions in different spaces and colorways.

How to Clean and Care for Fabric Wallcoverings

Spot clean fabric wallcoverings with a damp cloth using mild soap or upholstery cleaner. Do not use abrasive cleaning products or detergents. (Cleaning Code W)

Note: The W stands for wet or water clean. This means that, for the most part, the product can be safely cleaned using a water-based upholstery cleaner or water-based foam. A W coded item will usually perform better in a variety of environments and will usually respond well to cleaning.

What Kind of Adhesive is Used for Fabric Wallcoverings?

TVF’s Home Décor fabric wallcoverings have a non-woven or paper backing. They require wallpaper adhesive or glutinous rice glue. Professional hanging is recommended.

How Should Fabric Wallcoverings be stored?

Store fabric wallcovering in a dry environment and avoid sunlight.
